Facebook Page

Here’s how to find drafts for your Facebook page when using a PC:

  1. Sign in to your Facebook account.
  2. Click on “Pages” in the navigation menu on the left side of your screen. This should open a list of all the pages you manage.
  3. Select the page whose drafts you’d like to find.
  4. Once the page opens, select “Publishing Tools” from the navigation menu on the left side of your screen.
  5. Click on “Drafts.” At this point, you should see a list of all your drafts.
  6. Click on a draft to open it. If the draft is too long, you’ll only see a preview.
  7. You can now edit the draft as you wish or publish it right away. You can also schedule automatic updates.
  8. If you still want to save the draft even after editing,
    • Click on the button appearing under “News Feed” and then click on the “Share Now” button.
    • Click on “Save.” This changes the “Share Now” button to “Save as draft.”
    • Click on “Save as Draft.”

Personal Profile

The Facebook desktop app is the perfect desktop experience. You get everything you need to stay connected while working, shopping, or traveling. On the Facebook home screen, you can quickly post updates about what you’re doing and what you’re thinking about using one of three different status types: Status Update, Photo/Video, and Link Post. The sidebar on the left contains your News Feed, so scrolling through all your updates is just a click away.

For all its positives, the Facebook desktop app fails terribly when it comes to draft management. For one, it doesn’t allow you to save drafts when on profile mode. Your draft only is only retrievable if you don’t close or refresh the app.

Browsers don’t help either. For example, if you terminate drafting a post on Chrome, you lose the draft as soon as you refresh the page. Your post can’t be retrieved.
