The Facebook app for devices running on the Android operating system supports the management of Facebook pages. If you’re forced to abandon creating a post before hitting the “Publish” button, you can still find the draft and post it or edit it further.

Here’s how you can find a draft on a Facebook page when using an Android phone:

Launch the app and enter your credentials to sign in.

  1. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
  2. Tap on “Pages.” This should open a list of all the pages under your management. Then select the page whose drafts you’d like to find. If you can’t see the drafts under the settings menu, after the new update.
  3. Download and open the Facebook Business Suite (Pages Manager) app.
  4. Tap on the Posts & Stories icon at the bottom of the screen and then tap on the arrow drop down next to the Published, select “Drafts.” At this point, you should see a list of all the drafts you’ve saved.
  5. To post or delete a draft, tap on the three vertical dots.

There are several things to love about the Facebook app for Android when used for personal accounts. Notably, it differs from the PC version because it allows you to save and view as many drafts as you want. However, there’s a catch: you can only view a draft via a notification sent by Facebook moments after you’ve saved it. If you delete the notification, you can only view all drafts again by creating a new one and saving it.

Let’s see the specific steps to find your personal drafts on an Android device:

  1. Launch the Facebook app.
  2. Tap on the “What’s on your mind” box and create a temporary draft.
  3. Tap the back button and “Save as draft.”
  4. Once the draft is saved, you’ll receive a notification confirming as much.
  5. Tap on the notification.
  6. Tap the back button again. You should now see a list of all your drafts, starting with the most recent one.

You can edit or even post drafts as you see fit. However, it’s important to note that drafts automatically get discarded after three days.
